When it comes to things I didn’t expect to be asked, I didn’t expect to be asked about my name. It came from an innocent person with no malice thankfully and was a good one to be asked. I went with @kirakuneos not out of “o Imma black weeb n-word and Japan is the greatest-” no none of that.
This friend made an OC based on me over a decade ago with this name. After learning what Kiraku meant, I related heavy to it because I’m still extremely easygoing. My friend also tacked Neos at the end of it and that’s the only part that has no meaning but when I use #niosu that’s how you’d spell it katakana. ニオス
So later on in the years that name always stuck in my head and heart and the bonus was that Kiraku and Ongaku at least shared one Kanji together as mentioned. Not much of a rant, but now you know my name has sentimental value if you bothered to read.
